Fall ( a Poem)

Fall is here
breathe in
cool air stings
the long dark morning
leaves
slowly
fall
Wind rustles trees

SNAP

CRACKLE

…but no pop

a tree falls in the woods and
you
run to find it
while i
wait for the results

Fall is here
longer shadows in the afternoon
a last gasp of Spring

before hibernating for Winter

I love fall. The only bad thing about it is that it ends with winter.
    Enjoy the season.
