Good Lunch for < $5? Try Cook-Out!

Yep, even before the N&R;’s Reader’s Choice Award I was eating at Cook Out (2923 South Main St. – High Point). For less than $5 I can get a chargrilled, Cajun seasoned, chicken breast sandwhich, onion rings and a large drink.
The food is always fresh (e.g. onion rings are hot and not “double dipped”), the drinks cold, and the service efficient and friendly.

It’s an outstanding value and I must commend the staff for their 99.8% sanitation grade. There are few fast food resturants in this area of High Point that reach this level!
