#KBTribe Chat

Established a weekly twitter chat for the Kitchen & Bath industry. The effort was initiated with the hashtag #kbtribechat and later grew into a stand-alone Twitter account @kbtribechat.

Hafele America Co. #1 on Twitter

In 2011, Kleber & Associates, a home building products marketing agency, published a list of what Steve Kleber considers “some of the most active and engaging brands” on Twitter. Häfele America was ranked first. The list also included companies like: Pella, Dacor, Gerber, Rinnai, and KraftMaid.  Kleber goes on to say in his blog post, “When managed correctly, brands can take on their own personality within social media platforms just as well as individuals can”.

Entrust Energy (Email Strategy & Execution)

  • Streamlined the “load & blast” process by aligning internal database query extracts with ExactTarget features & functionality.
  • Expanded targeting options to lay a foundation for future success to include grouping by product purchased, geography and contract end date.
  • Proposed Google Analytics and API integration for improved marketing automation.

Hafele America (Email Strategy & Execution)

  • Specified, recommended and implemented Listrak email marketing service provider vendor to enhance deliverability, marketing automation and CAN-SPAM compliance.
  • Reactivation campaign – Partnering with National Sales Manager and Customer Service Director we developed and deployed a “last chance” incentive to re-active prospects who hadn’t ordered in the previous 18 months. Results were overwhelming positive.
  • Closet Spotlight” – A quarterly email newsletter for closet hardware customers. Content: A mix of field interviews with fellow professionals, marketing tips and company promotions (PDF)
  • Showroom Event Invitations – Migrated three showrooms from Outlook based event invites to a combination email and web based strategy. Improved attendance through downloadable calendar reminders and automatically re-sending to recipients who didn’t open and/or click. (PDF)
  • Product Showcase”  – Hafele Canada (a subsidiary of Hafele America) deployed a monthly sales email which displayed new product releases and special offers. (PDF)

BEM Interactive (Email Strategy)

  • Developed internal best practices document for agency.
  • Reviewed newsletter for consistency and branding, linking and appropriate calls to action.
  • Integrated Google Analytics within the firm’s ExactTarget account for improved reporting on campaigns and lead capture activities.
  • Enhanced content strategy through re-use of blog content within email newsletter.
